Aemond loses an eye to Lucerys' knife in a childhood fight and holds an obsessive grudge. Years later, as civil war looms between the two sides of the Targaryen family, Aemond and Lucerys meet accidentally at Storm's End. After Lucerys refuses Aemond's challenge, Aemond chases him on dragonback, ending with the deaths of both Lucerys and his dragon.
