Pet Peeves is a gen Forever Knight story and coloring book by R.A. Johnston. On the cover: "A Forever LaCroix Story." On the title page: "A special edition storybook and colouring book for Crescent City Con 1995."

This story was discussed in a post to FORKNI-L made by Laurie Fenster on 1 February 1996:
Someone wrote an absolutely hilarious, delightful story on that subject [Lacroix getting a dog] (and a parody of USA's involvement with FK to boot). It was written prior to Crescent City Con last year, and showed up there as a story and coloring book <g>, published by Special Services. They held a "name the puppy" contest, collecting names submitted by attendees, and Nigel [Bennett] got to judge and pick the three best names. (Can't remember what they were, but at least two of them were blood-related.)
The story was later reprinted in Knightbeat VI.
