The Stranger is an unlicensed Doctor Who fan film series by Bill Baggs and BBV. While not explicitly based on Doctor Who, most fans consider it to effectively be a fan film.

Summary

For the first couple of stories, you could be forgiven for thinking that this is "Doctor Who" in all but name. The Stranger (never referred to by any name, at first) is an enigmatic traveller, who broods remorsefully on the events of his past. Miss Brown is, for want of a better term, his companion. Perhaps inevitably, The Stranger is played by Colin Baker and Miss Brown by Nicola Bryant.

This is the status quo for the first 3 stories (a full list of which can be found below). After that, things take a rather different path: Two figures from The Stranger's past confront him, and he discovers some secrets from his former life that he thought he'd escaped from...

Nicola Bryant does not feature in the latter three stories, and the tone is not exactly Who-esque, but the whole series is included in this list regardless, since it is of interest to the majority of fans of Doctor Who.
