Married 36 years, mom of 5. In various fandoms almost 50 years. Catholic.
Under my real name, was the founder and co-editor of the Beauty and the Beast fandom's Helpers Network hotline, the Beauty and the Beast Directory, the Helpers Network Directory and the editor of the Beauty and the Beast Literary Compendium.
Fannish History
Discovered Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits and Marvel in '63 (I still love Toad); Dark Shadows and Star Trek in '66; and the character most like me, Marvel's Nightcrawler, in '75. I've been creating characters and writing stories in those fandoms and in original worlds ever since. Was an active online text-based roleplayer on various forums from 2003-2014, and am getting back into writing after an illness-hiatus. Am a member of LASFS, and went to Comic-Con back when it had 200 attendees. Now I have a daughter who works there (and at other cons)
Current Favorites
Still Marvel (Phil Coulson rules!); still everything else I've ever loved, and all my characters still live and want to be written. I love complex and engaging characters, character development and deep stories. There are already enough people doing romantic pairings. Am more into deep relationships of other kinds - friends, family, parent/child, mentor/student. Many of my original characters, in and out of fandoms, have disabilities, deformities or other adversities to cope with. And I am a total sucker for a good, complex, full of misunderstandings and pitfalls type of redemption story!
