Axe and Bow is a Legolas/Gimli archive featuring friendship and slash fanfiction and fanart for Legolas and Gimli. The site is the archive of the Axe_Bow Yahoo! Group.[1]
This is an archive and directory of fan fiction, artwork, and references based on the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. The archive was created as an adjunct to the Axe_Bow discussion list, and contains material likely to be of interest to list members. The primary focus here is on the characters Legolas and Gimli, and the relationship between them. We also welcome material concerning interactions between Elves and Dwarves, or Dwarven culture and history. Please see the Rules for Inclusion in the Archive for more details about archive content.[2]
As of October 2011, two versions of this archive are online, a new archive and the old version, which is no longer being updated.

The archive of the Axe_Bow Yahoogroup, all GEN, ADULT, and SLASH The Lord Of The Rings stories featuring Legolas and Gimli (or any Elf-Dwarf pair) are accepted. Besides those stories housed directly on the site, there is a Big List of all L/G stories on the web. Updated every now and then, this archive is simple to peruse.
