The Fall Femmeslash Fest was a Harry Potter fic and art fest hosted by Aspen and the Girls Today recsletter community.
Girls Today posted links and recs for works created for the fest as they were published. Two stories and two pieces of fanart created for the fest were selected as the recsletter's "Editor's Picks": "Golden Glove" by nebuleaen (art, Ginny/Luna), "Memory of Summertime" by annabellatrix (fic, Petunia/Lily), "Puppet Princess" by lady_kareth (art, Bellatrix/Hermione),[1] and "Toad the Wet Sprocket" by foreword (fic, Umbridge/Hermione).[2]
Timeline
A link to a poll to gauge interest in a femslash ficathon was posted in the August 25, 2005 edition of the recsletter.[3] The fest was officially announced on August 29, 2005.
The fest deadline was October 9, 2005.[4][5] The fest masterlist was posted on October 10 issue of the recsletter.[6]
