Reactions and Reviews

This is lovely 2 page vignette that made me smile and feel warm all over. The story tells us about the special relationship btw the Captain and the First Officer of the starship Enterprise, and how that special relationship became distant and was nearly lost I must share a teeny, tiny excerpt which I love. Spoiler here:

For days the Enterprise was a silent ship, her halls seeming filled with hushed whispers and creeping shadows. Days spent waiting in silence unlike any other thathad ever filledthe ship. Days the first officerspent at the side of his Men captain, though if he spent those days in silence or in desperate speech none who were present would say.

I could really picture that scene in my mind. Sometimes a short piece is all that's needed to convey K/S love in a big way! There is a very short poem at the end that will share as well... just 'cuz I'm in that kind of mood, and the poem is too short not to share.

Golden,
his hair,
glittering,
the future,
heaven,
the now.... [1]

"Golden Silences" by Autumn Hill is a 2 page story. I'd hardly want the review to be longer than the story so I will just say it was a pleasant little snippet to read. [2]
