Time magazine is publishing it's old content online. Here's an article about Worldcon from 1939. (I don't think the convention is actually named in the article, but the person who emailed me with the link said that Worldcon is the con in question). --Anenko 19:58, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

The "controversies" section needs a lot of work--the recent Puppygate is well-documented online, but older controversies are not. In looking for Puppygate info, I found references to controversies dating back to the very earliest Worldcons, wherein some fans or maybe authors were banned, but later I could not remember the terms used and couldn't find the links again.
