Author's Notes

It's time for that all-time author favorite — the notes!

First and foremost, my thanks to Marion for wanting to publish this, and for following through even when the timing was awful, to put it mildly. Thank you, Marion! I'm sorry I was such a pain.

Also, my heartfelt thanks to my long-suffering editors, Theresa Kyle and Marian Kelly. You two are the best. Believe me, folks, if there are any mistakes in here, it's because I was too pig-headed to listen to them. They tried — really!

Third, thanks again to my favorite medical advisor, Marybeth Lambe. No one could have been more tactlul about telling me that something was physically impossible, or more helpful about giving me alternate choices to keep me ffom sulking. You really are a saint, Marybeth.

I'll also throw in a word of thanks and appreciation to my husband, who not only doesn't mind in the slightest that I read and write slash, but even encourages me. I'm beginning to realize just how rare that can be in this field. Thanks, Boss, from the bottom of my heart.

I'd thank my creative writing teacher except I didn't have one, which explains a lot, I suspect.

Hope you enjoy the story.

Kate

Publisher's Notes

Thanks to Kate for letting me publish her novel. And Kate, you weren't a pain at all. In fact, in the end you were a great help in getting this out in time. Timing is everything, they say, and for me this year has been mostly bad timing.

To my readers, I'm sure you will enjoy this story. And if you do, please send a LOC to Kate. I'm sure she would love to hear from you. So go on now and enjoy.
