Learning the wiki editing code can be daunting. There are tools that can make this easier. Fanlore's wiki editing tool has some automated features that will allow you to bold text. Or add italics.
But what if you want to create a list or change from upper to lower case? Or how about copy and pasting text that has been formatted in word or email to wiki code?
There is a tool that can do this: WikiEd. It is a script that can be installed on Firefox or Chrome.
