Editing user talk pages
Hi! I just wanted to let you know as you might not realize, but if you make any edit to another user's "talk page" (even just giving a title to a section, like you did on my user talk page earlier today) it sends a notification that "Ellakbhesse sent you a message," which is a little confusing when you did not! Generally speaking, I don't think user talk pages are like other pages on Fanlore: they are more private spaces than public, like an e-mail inbox almost, so you can probably save yourself the trouble of editing them. Doing my best
I've been a Wikipedia admin and power user for over a decade, fandom a specialty; so Wikipedia habits will be hard to break. --Orangemike (talk) 19:17, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
No problem. I keep forgetting that I'm on Fanlore and using my dinosaur phone and not a computer and editing somewhere like Tumblr, LJ or DA. I tend to move my fingers looking for the control button, wanting to insert a a href= when inserting an image. It's a horror that I burst out laughing. notes on categories
I noticed you were adding some categories to image files for both the year and the decade--if you know that the image/fanwork/fanart/fanzine was created in a specific year, you don't need to add the decade category as well. Here is a help page on how to categorize files if you haven't seen it already.--aethel (talk) 00:58, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
