Summary
What if a third race of elves existed, and their unique feature was the ability of the males to bear children? What if Celebrian could not bear Elrond's children, and the only hope for the future of the Elves in Middle Earth was one of these rare males, Legolas? [1]
From the Author's Notes
I do want to stress that this was a challenge, the story it self in no way resembles the original and for purists who are not adverse to slash, then this may also be too far left of field for them. However, this is an Alternate Universe, it preposes that the elves are not yet ready to leave Middle Earth but takes place at the end of the Return of the King. That Elrond stays on in Middle Earth and that Galadriel sails and leaves Celeborn behind for some time.
